How we got asked to send Mally Bibs to the Royal Couple for their newborn Prince + NEW leather placemats and a model search!
It's true - The Royal Baby will have some of our Mally Bibs!!
Life and business has been amazing lately. We just keep plugging away, doing what we love and good things keep happening - one of those good things being that we were asked to send William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge one of our bibs for their newborn Prince and the 3rd in line to be the future King! We of course were thrilled and honoured. Now, this highly anticipated baby has made his arrival. Yes, in case you haven't heard (which I'm sure you have), it's a little boy, 8 lbs., 6 oz., born July 22nd at 4:24pm in London.
So how did we get this honourable opportunity?! And how will we decide which designs to send?! READ ALL THE DETAILS ON OUR ROYAL BABY BLOG POST >

Leather Placemats - it's about time!
Next, we have been feeling so creative since moving in to our gorgeous new studio. It's just the perfect creative space for designing and coming up with new product ideas. Customers have been asking us to design leather placemats for years. We even made some samples a few years ago which we sent to some fabulous customers for product testing, and despite the rave reviews, we decided not to go forward with them at the time because we knew it would be an expensive item given the fact that each placemat takes up as much leather as 2 toddler bibs. Time went on, and our customers kept asking for them! We came up with 8 stunning, modern and colorful designs, which can even be color customized to coordinate with your own color scheme in your kitchen or dining room. When we set out to designs our leather placemats, we wanted to create something that would get people excited. We wanted your friends and family to say 'WOW! Where did you get these amazing placemats?!' We also had several other goals in mind when we designed these and offered them for sale:
- to make them fully reversible with a solid color on one side for every day use, a design on the other for every day or for when guests are over / special occasions.
- design in a way so that the designs would not be hidden once set with dishes and cutlery.
- create designs that are appealing to both kids and adults, without being too child like.
- offer them in fun, modern, colorful options, available individually for in sets of 4, 6, or 8 for a savings.
- to give customers the option to customize the colors to match their own kitchen, dining room or patio decor.
- to make the most practical, durable and long lasting placemats there are.
We managed to accomplish all of our goals and after using our set for a week, I know you will love them! We are excited to start making these as they are ordered! We also offer matching coasters for these as well! Be sure to get yours so you can start enjoying them > all leather coasters and placemats are available here at our etsy shop and are available individually or in sets of 4, 6 or 8 for savings.
